01 / Overview
AO-INTERACTIVE partnered with Metacode to plan and build a state-of-the-art, permanent interactive experience center for King Saud University in Riyadh.
We designed and delivered the complete digital content ecosystem, merging sensor-driven storytelling screens with an interactive AR-enabled maquette that serves as a premium briefing tool for VIP delegations and university leadership.

Navigating Complexity
Transform a traditional visitor center into a responsive journey. Proximity sensors needed dependable content triggers, and a physical 4x4m campus maquette required real-time digital overlays for guided presentations.

Innovative Execution
- Visitor journey engineering: Programmed a network of proximity sensors to activate content when visitors approach any of the 4 key displays.
- Cinematic content creation: Rendered 3D storytelling animations mapping out KSU's history, achievements, and future vision.
- Interactive AR campus maquette: Developed a tablet-based AR app that recognizes the physical maquette, overlaying dynamic maps and university POIs.
- Kiosk navigation: Integrated 4 touchscreen kiosks allowing visitors to explore detailed POI data and trigger video projections.
